Vito Speciale, DPM for ABFAS Board of Directors

Graduates of the West Penn Residency Training Program,

Vito Speciale, DPM, one of our past residents and WPFAS alumni, is running for the board of directors for the American Board of Foot and Ankle surgery (ABFAS).  Vito currently practices in Summerville, South Carolina with two other of our past graduates, Hal Hatchet, DPM and Ed Blitch, DPM.

Many of you know Vito, as he has been a frequent visitor to our WPFAS functions.  He has been quite supportive of the residency training program throughout his career.

For those of you that don’t know Vito, he is forward thinking, open minded, and understands our needs and challenges as foot and ankle Surgeons.  I can assure you; he will provide solid representation and maintain the integrity of ABFAS certification process.  This is critically important currently, when the ABFAS is being challenged by other entities.

You have likely received an email from ABFAS asking you to cast your vote.  There are 4 candidates running for 3 positions.

The voting deadline is April 28, 2023. Please take the time to cast your vote for Vito Speciale. He is a past West Penn Foot & Ankle Society graduate and alumni who will make an excellent board member. Thanks for your consideration.
